I’m dreaming of a Right Christmas
Unlike the ones’ we’ve always known
Where the parents listen
To their Autistic children
And only speak the words that help them grow

I’m dreaming of a Right Christmas
Unlike the ones’ we’ve spent alone
Where the word Autism
Is free from all stigma
And never hears the Ableist words you chose

I’m dreaming of a Right Christmas
Where the doors for us are not always closed
And nonverbal children
Hear words that are spoken
They understand more than you will ever know

I’m dreaming of a Right Christmas
It’s not like being Autistic is a life we chose
And when we’ve misspoken
Doesn’t mean that we’re broken
And “As we are” is accepted across the globe

I’m dreaming of a Right Christmas
Unlike the ones’ we’ve ever known
Where the word “Acceptance”…
